Brad Scornavacco is a Senior Systema Instructor based in Longmont, Colorado, and one of the most experienced Russian martial arts teachers in the United States. He has studied martial arts and peak mind/body performance for over 42 years, and is one of the first Americans to travel to Russia to train directly with Systema Master Mikhail Ryabko — a trip he has made several times since. He is currently the only Affiliated Senior Instructor of Systema under Vladimir Vasiliev in the state of Colorado.

A graduate of Northwestern University with degrees in Philosophy and Economics, Brad brings a strong intellectual foundation to his teaching — one that goes well beyond technique. He is the author of Systema Revelations: Lessons of the Russian Martial Arts and is the creator of the WarriorFit® Portable Personal Training System.
Brad has been teaching martial arts since 1988. What distinguishes him from most instructors isn’t just his depth of training — it’s his ability to explain what’s actually happening in complex, subtle arts like Systema.
